What I did to be barve/Summer learning Journey

One time, my parents decided to go hiking up a big mountain. My brother was so scared. And I was't, because he was afraid of heights but I wasn't. He was going to be brave then we went in groups. I was with my friend and the adults that have their phones with them. Just so we don't get lost, A few moments later it felt like one hour. My feet burn like fire, I was walking then I saw so many baby mountains . My feet was burning, few minute   late we made it thought and we got to the top of the mountain. I saw my brother  and my friend Nethan, we were playing around then the adults said that were going . Where? I replied going to go back down I was so tired. then they laugh, This is the part my brother was brave. So he decided to follow Nethan some adults follow to one had a phone with data. and the the rest didn't have any with them. So I was just walking down, few hour later we made it back down mt mum was looking for my big brother. and the mother of my two friends was so worried sick my mum she told me to go check everywhere! she screamed. I check everywhere! he was no where then he came out with the the adults and the two friends and they learnt the big lesson never to follow Nethan. My mum was so happy to see him. he had to be brave and  not give up because that is what he did.

you might be asking how did he get out? well
didn't i tell you that one of the  adults had the phone and
use GPS

thank you for listening to my story,
and I hope you have a great day

  1. Kia ora Love,

Great work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity - keep up the good work. Don’t forget to comment back to blog commenters as well as on others SLJ blog posts to gain extra points.

It sounds like you went on a very big hike. Do you know where you went?

It's always so important to stay with a group when going out on hikes to ensure you stay safe and don't get lost. I am so happy to hear that your brother was able to get out using the GPS.
Was he scared? Do you think he learnt a big lesson about staying with the group?

Until next time, happy blogging :)

  3. Mōrena Love!

    Mikey here. :)

Congratulations on completing another activity! I've just been thinking about all of the fantastic blog posts that I've been lucky enough to read over the last month and your blog popped into my mind! And so I thought I'd check back in and have another look at all of the posts you've shared. :)

While I'm here I also wanted to let you know that there's only one week left of the Summer Learning Journey and before it finishes next Friday (January 24th) I'd love to see some more of your wonderful work. I've noticed that you haven't been as active recently but there's still plenty of time to jump back online and have a go at a few more activities - there's loads of fun ones left to choose from.

Remember, the more activities you do, the more points you could earn! :)

Have a great day, Love. I hope to see more posts from you soon.

    Mā te wā,

    Mikey
