My Character Profile

 Hello everyone, 

Today I am going to talk about my follow up. For my follow up we have to do a character profile about Tad Spencer. I wrote facts about him and about his family also a bit abut his lifestyle. There are a lot of facts of him that I haven't got to yet. 

Later on in the book he switched into another person, and had no idea what to do.  Later on he liked his life as a another person skinny and not chubby.  He wanted to be Bob Snarby but he didn't know what to call himself, Bob or Tad.

2 Venn Diagram

 Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk about a 2 venn diagram that me and my buddy made. For reading we had to make a 2 venn diagram about the difference between the modern Olympicd and the ancient Olympics. There were some weird facts about the ancient Olympics that I have never heard about.

Me and Lyah were working on our separate docs.We may have searched up a few facts about the ancient Olympics. We didn't really know anything about the ancient Olympics. It was really easy to write facts about the modern Olympics.

Olympics

Hello everyone,

Today for reading we learnt some facts about the Olympics. We had to write some facts about the Olympics. My buddy Lyah and I made presentation after that we picked something to talk about. For our presentation we wrote some facts about skateboarding. 

We got some pictures to put on some of our slides. of the Olympics like the logo. We didn't take so long to make this presentation. I hope you like, we spent about two days working on this presentation. We also talked about volley ball.  Sometimes we had to search up things we weren't sure about.

Handwriting

 Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk about handwriting. For handwriting we did someones 100 word count. before we used to do poems but our teacher had the idea of writing our 100 word counts. Today it was kind of obvious which persons 100 word count it was. 

Every Friday we first have to finish our spelling. After we finish our spelling Miss Scott talks about handwriting. Just to make sure, this time it is week 8.

Layers Of The Rainforest

 Hello everyone, 

Today I am going to talk to you about  Layers of the rain forest.  There is many different trees that reach different height. On the forest floor there is grass, dirt, animals,insects and bushes.  In the emergent layer there are some birds butterfly maybe monkeys.

Our class was going to write down facts about each layer of the forest like the forest floor, under story,canopy and the emergent layer. If you wanted people could search up facts about some of the layers but they have to put it into their own words. I didn't even need to search facts about the layers. It's because Before we started our work miss Scott told us some things that are in ever layer.

Facts About The Velvet Worm

Hello everyone, 

Today I am going to talk to you about velvet worms. For a few weeks we have been doing topic about flowers,the forest,class names. We have been working on a few more but this time we are working invertebrates. Invertebrates are insects without backbones, to protect themselves they a shell something called an exoskeleton. 

Before writing facts about the velvet worm I started off with the wētā. But I couldn't find any facts about it. Then I was just looking at my screen for a long time. But I figured out another invertebrate called velvet worm.

How To make An Easy Origami Butterfly

 Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk to you about a butterfly origami. Today out class made a butterfly. We could watch a video about it. Then we have to write the instructions down on goggle docs. First we write the title then what we need. The last thing is the steps. I got a square paper then I made the butterfly. Then I took it apart so I could redo the steps. It took me I think three days to finish the steps. Sometimes I got confused on it.

Later on when nearly everyone finished I took my institutions to Claire. I wasn't sure at first but then I gave her my steps. She tried making a butterfly with my steps to see if they were correct. After that she finished making the butterfly she changed some of my steps.

How To Make A Hot Chocolate

 Hello everyone,

Today Our class made a hot chocolate. First off we have to find a buddy. Then we wait, after everyone waits four people get to make it. Once you get picked you have to follow your buddies instructions. Me and my buddy were very confused at first. We both took her intrusions. First we added to teaspoons of cocoa powder then added some milk. Soon after we waited for the hot water then added marshmallows.

On the table there was hot water, milk,cocoa, marshmallows and wooden spoons. When you finish the teacher will take a photo of you and your buddy. Then you could drink it. I thought it was really hot and tasted plain, My instructions were how to make a Milo because I didn't  really know that we were going to make a hot chocolate.

My Follow Up

Hello everyone,

Today my follow up is about a presentation. This presentation is about how to be a good friend. I made a slide show showing you what you can do to be a good friend. If you watch it you could maybe do some of them yourself.

At reading time we were reading a book. I forgot the name of the book. First the whole class went on the  field trip. Everyone was ahead and two people stayed at the back with the teacher.

Later on they reached a cabin. When they reached the cabin the new kid was sleeping next to the main character. The new kid accidentally left his boots on the veranda.  

In the morning the boots were eaten but the birds. He started to sob saying that his dad would be mad. The main character helped the new kid and gave him tape to use.

Pigpen Coding

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk to you about pigpen coding. Pigpen coding is about shapes each shape has a different meaning. It isn't that easy you'll need a paper to write it down so you don't forget. We learnt different codes but I decided to do this. Just so you know every line is a different word.

Later on you can learn to do a pigpen coding. You can do it on a piece of paper or go on a goggle drawing.

It'll get easier once you learn. In case you don't under stand there is a picture at the top and also an example. If you already know try guess my code.  You can make one and show your family members.

My Cloze

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to show you my cloze. This cloze is called "News For You". Just so you know what cloze is. It's about a story with missing gaps. You'll have to find the right words for it. The word you use will be at the left side of the sheet.

After you finish it you have to read it. Make sure that it makes sense. Once you read it you can maybe ask someone else to read it as well. Most cloze can be easy, hard or even interesting. We got a harder cloze than before,

My 100 Word Count

Hello everybody,

Today I am going to talk about my, "100 Word Count." Today' s prompt was 5 words:-  Balloon, kick, frightening, brown and never. In one day I managed to finish my writing.  Once I finished my teacher commented on my writing. She said, "where can you fit the word never into this?" Suddenly I started to type and change my writing.

Soon I really finished my story. I started to proof read it and also make little changes. I went to go show Claire but the rotation was soon over. Sadly I sat down on the couch and waited for the last rotation.

My Cloze

 Hello everyone,

Today I will be talking about my Cloze. Every single week we get a new one. But this week the Cloze was called, "Always Great, Never Late" Our teacher said she was going to give us some easy ones for a bit. Sometimes people had a copy  of the Cloze. Week one and two's Cloze was simple because I had a copy of it.

On Monday everyone will be given a new Cloze for the week. I think the next Cloze will be a little harder like last years.

Name Tags

 Hello everyone,

Today I am going to be talking my name tag. Our whole class each made a name tag for themselves. We all made different patterns and drawings. My name tag was about the game among us. The colours I did was blue,black,pink and many more. We had to do light backgrounds and bold letters.

When we were done we would leave it on a table and wait. After waiting they get laminated, stuck then onto our cubbies by the teacher.

Time Capsule Letter

Hello everyone, 

Today I am going to talk about my time capsule. We did 3 parts of the time capsule letter. writing to our self how tall your feet are and how tall you are. The last one is about what you like. Everyone that wrote a time capsule letter will get to read it at the end of the year.

I am still finishing the other two parts. I still hope I remember that I wrote this letter to myself. Just to make sure I remember I have to tick a box I put on my time capsule letter.

Chinese New Year facts ⬜

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to be talking about Chinese New Year facts. Also I will be telling you what we did in class.

 In class we have been learning about the Chinese New Year. We were all to do at lest 10 facts about Chinese New Year. Just in case we could watch a video about the Chinese new year.

After writing 10 facts we could draw a dragon, or make an easy lantern. If we drew a dragon we put facts on the paper we drew on. But if we made a lantern you can write the facts or glue them on. Some of us were told to draw dragons. The lucky people got to make a easy lantern.

Today I am going to be talk about my poem. Our teacher set a task for us we had to write a poem a Haiku poem. My Haiku poem was about a Blossom Tree in spring break.
