The Last Paper Mache

Hola! Everyone,

Today everyone had to take their paper mache to our assembly. Before no one was finished but now everyone started on their bird. Lots of people didn't finish. We had to wait for the paint and paint brushes. Unfortunately we didn't get any paint shirt. I was kind of scared to get the paint on my clothes.

When I started to paint it was going fine. It was going sort of perfectly until the paint dried. I was turning it left and right it was turning into a different colour. I mixed a tiny blob of black and a lot of white. I was trying to make a really light grey.

I was painting the stomach of my bird but then it was turning pink. I didn't think much of it at first. So I started painting the wings brown. I looked at it carefully it started turning really dark red. My bird had a lot of white showing. I don't think I'm done with it.

Thank you for reading my blog post

I hope you have a fantastic day.

Have you ever tried paper mache?

  1. Thank you Love for giving us a great insight on the process of making and painting your bird.
Ii reminds me of my bird PoPcorn. He isn't a native bird to New Zealand though so I know you haven't made an African Grey.

    What bird have you made?.

Have a lovely last week of the school holidays.
